Sampuran Singh –a devoted Volunteer-who devoted his entire life undauntedof his extremely poor financial status spent his entire life for motivating eye and blood donation died on 17-02-09.He had himself pledged his eyes and body to medical College. As promised by the trust in his lifetime, the trust arrange for the donation of his eyes on death and delivered his body to Guru Ram Das Medical College Amritsar with a great honour. The donated eyes were grafted two blind persons who have restored their vision.
